Four new pendants.

So I got this coin bezel from a casting shop and I really liked it. It has all kinds of deco swirls carved into it. I just really like. So I though I would make a couple of my own. I made these coin bezels out of copper and bronze then I’ll get rubber molds made out of them. Check it out.

Style 1

Started with copper wire and rolled it down a little to make the sides flat.

Made the rings that will make up the coin holders.

Soldered those parts together.

Cut main piece out of sheet bronze.

Carved in design and cut out center to fit coin bezel.

Soldered those pieces together.

Close up in yo face!

Soldered on little prongs on the back. Soldered jump ring on. Stamped dot patter in each leaf.

Just to get an idea of what the darkened final piece will look like.

Style 2

Cut out main piece out of sheet bronze.

Cut out center to fit coin bezel.

Carve lines into main piece with flex shaft tools.

Solder pieces together. Solder Jump ring on.

Style 3
I kind skipped some steps but you get the idea. Sorry.

I’m actually just soldering on some rolled out wire in this pattern. See below.

I take the wire and solder it in place and then form it onto the rest of the piece.

After all the pieces are tacked and formed I flow solder in all the seams.

Then I cut the ends off and add these little end pieces.

Like I said, I skipped some steps but I made four of these little coin bezels. The darker bronze one is the one I bought from the casting shop.

All five designs together. You can see the darker bronze piece with the silver coin I engraved that rooster on. What do you think?
